PROBLEM​

We discovered that current fashion discovery platforms fail to adequately personalize the shopping experience, lack effective community engagement features, and often overlook user preferences for sustainability and ethical fashion, leading to a disjointed and unsatisfying user experience.

- A comprehensive competitive analysis was conducted to evaluate existing fashion discovery platforms and identify opportunities for TRNDS to differentiate itself in the market

i. Personalized Features: Competitors offer limited personalization features, with generic recommendations and a one-size-fits-all approach to fashion discovery. This highlights a key opportunity for TRNDS to stand pout by implementing advanced AI-driven recommendations tailored to the user.

ii. Community Engagement: Many competitors lack robust community engagement functionalities. TRNDS can capitalize on this by fostering a vibrant and supportive community where users can connect, share insights, and seek advice from fellow fashion enthusiast. 

iii. Navigation and Search Functionalities: Existing platforms suffer from complex navigation and search functionalities leading to poor user experience. TRNDS can gain a competitive edge by offering a simplified and intuitive user interface, coupled with a streamlined search function and easy-to-use filter for seamless discovery.

- User interviews were conducted to delve into the fashion discovery experience and preferences of users, providing qualitative insights crucial for TRNDS' development.
